Chavonay Brown | Wedding MakeUp for the Bride & Bridal Party
After doing Chavonay’s MakeUp for their Engagement Shoot (see it here) I was excited to do her MakeUp again for her Wedding day!
I was actually booked for both a morning and an afternoon wedding on this Saturday. So my day started at 7:30 doing Hair and MakeUp for a bride and her mom at the Twelve Apostles, Camps Bay. Then I traveled back up the West Coast all the way to Buffelsfontein Game and Nature Reserve to do MakeUp for Chavonay and her Bridal Party.

When Chavonay first came to me for her Engagement Shoot, she was nervous that I would apply too much. She quickly explained to me that she doesn’t usually wear much – if any – MakeUp. Basically only foundation. So on that occasion I had to push hard to be able to do just a ‘minimal’ MakeUp look… lol But since she got to see from that session how lovely her MakeUp looked in those pictures, she gave me a slightly freer reign on her wedding day. 😉
I still only did a very natural, almost ‘no MakeUp’ look though as I didn’t want to overwhelm her with anything too dramatic. So I just did beautiful flawless Airbrush Foundation using Kryolan. Then a bit of blush and highlight on her cheeks. As well as earthy tones on her eyes with a couple of cluster lashes and a beautiful blush coloured liquid lipstick on her lips.
