Anel Blaauw | Wedding MakeUp & Hair Styling
Anel Blaauw had a fun ‘Cowboy theme’ to their wedding, but she decided to keep her Hair & MakeUp more traditional ‘bridal’ and not necessarily matched to the theme. 😉
Anel’s Bridal MakeUp
For Anel’s MakeUp I did a classic look with natural shading in the crease and highlight on the lid of the eye. Then I applied a strong liquid liner on the top lash line and some individual cluster lashes.
Because her cheeks have a natural tendency to blush very quickly, I only added minimal blush to contour her cheekbones. As well as a soft highlight. She also didn’t want too much colour on her lip, so I just used a colour that was very close to her own natural lip colour.
Anel’s Bridal Hair Style
Anel wanted a beautiful braided up-style in her hair. I first did a Dutch Braid starting from a side parting and using the front third of her hair. To make this braid appear fuller, I gently tugged each individual piece slightly apart to flesh it out. I then did a normal braid in the rest of her hair in the back. And twisted and pinned the length of these two braids into a loose but neat bun in her neck.

I also did Anel’s bridesmaid / maid-of-honour / sister’s MakeUp for the wedding. And pinned her hair into a loose up-style. Then MakeUp for the Mother-of-the-bride as well.
