Santa – Model Portfolio Shoot MakeUp and Hair Styling
I did Hair & MakeUp on the Model Portfolio Shoot for Santa while I was still located in the Cape Town city center.
As you can see, the feel of this shoot was quite moody, with a lot of black & white or ‘almost black & white’ shots.
Santa’s Hair & MakeUp – Model Look 1 (bikini)
You can’t see her eye makeup in these images because of the aviator sunglasses. But I gave her flawless skin with my Airbrush Foundation. Then applied a pink nude lip and added some definition on her cheeks to accentuate her cheekbones.
With her hair, I pinned it back into a big pouf in front. And then smoothed the sides back as well, and just pinned them up at the back of her head.
Santa’s MakeUp & Hair – Portfolio Look 2 (little black dress)
This was a light evening (cocktail hour) look. So not quite evening MakeUp. Still quite natural with a nude lip.
Then I parted her hair to the one side and I straightened it down, with a slight flick at the ends.
Shoot Look 3 (topless with jeans) – Santa’s Hair & MakeUp
The feel of this look was almost boudoir, so I put some loose curls in her hair. And then I ‘roughed it up’ to create a messy, ‘just got out of bed’ style.
We also decided on an almost naked / no makeup look to go with the ‘naked’ / vulnerable feel of this look.
