Location: Photographer’s studio in Sea Point and Forrest area above Camps Bay, South Africa
Unfortunately I can not remember this model & her friend’s names, only that they were from Romania and here in Cape Town for modelling during our ‘season time’ (summer).
We started our shoot outside against the foot of Table Mountain on the Camps Bay side. For this look I used earthy colours, adding just a touch of coral eyeshadow and blush. And then used my curling wand to create voluminous curls in her hair.
The second look was back at the studio and had a cheeky and playful feel. So I brushed out her curls into a softer wave and pinned front part of her hair (fringe area) back for the first couple of photos. And then we decided to take it all up to give her look a bit more of a sporty feel for the next couple of shots.
I also went slightly playful with her MakeUp for this look, adding an extended black eyeliner on the bottom lash lines of her eyes.
The third look was also in studio, and here we went for something a bit more dramatic / moody. I only have one colour shot, where you can actually see the colours of the eyeshadows that I used. Coming from the playful mood we just shot, I decided to use fun colours rather than a traditional brown or charcoal smokey eye. So I pulled through the coral colour to this last look as well, using a deeper (darker) version underneath her eyes. And then I used two different greens on her eyelid to make her own green eyes stand out more. I also applied a coral lipgloss to her lips.
