Pin-Up Model Portfolio Shoot MakeUp & Hair Styling
This was such a fun shoot to work on! I don’t often get the opportunity to work with a theme and get a bit more creative. So I loved getting to do MakeUp & Hair in a bit more of a Pin-Up Girl style for the first outfit of this Model Portfolio Shoot.
The model had beautiful blue eyes & blond hair, with charming little freckles. Which I know most ladies hate on themselves, but I just love the fresh & young look of some cheeky freckles 😉
First Look – Pin-up MakeUp & Hair
As I said, the first look was themed quite 60’s Pin-Up Girl. So I did her hair in a beautiful 60’s roll on the one side of her head. To which they added the striped wide rim hat for her to play with.
For her MakeUp I did a classic 60’s liquid eyeliner look, with a set of strip lashes. And of course rounded it off with an iconic red lip (which you sadly can’t see in these black & white photos).
Second Look MakeUp & Hair
For the second look (colourful top and jean shorts) the theme moved to more smouldering sexy. So I brushed out her curls to create voluminous slightly wavy hair.
And I changed her lip to a beautiful nude colour. You can also see the wow-ness of her liner and fake lashes in these photos.
Third Look MakeUp & Hair
I didn’t change too much for the third look of the shoot. Her curls/waves had pretty much been worked out by this time. So I just brushed out her hair again, so that it could blow around playfully in the slight breeze.
And touched up her lip and cheeks with a bit of extra glow.
