Mark Otto – Model Portfolio Shoot MakeUp and Male Grooming
Unfortunately I could only find these 2 pics from Mark ‘s Model Portfolio Shoot, which I did MakeUp & Hair for quite a couple of years ago. And they are just 2 different colour versions of the same image, so technically they should probably only count as one… ;P
Mark’s MakeUp
As with most of the male model photo shoots that I have worked on, this one didn’t require a lot of MakeUp to be applied. Mark’s skin had take a bit of strain from being in the harsh African sun a lot. So I started with applying a good moisturiser and then took away any shine left after that had been absorbed, by using loose translucent powder.
I also had to treat his dry lips with my trusty Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream. This is one of those staples which every MakeUp Artist should always have in their MakeUp Kit 😉
I would have loved to jump into those bushy brows, just to neaten and tone them down a bit. But Mark protested profusely, so I only got to comb them a little with my lash & brow comb.
Mark’s Hair
For his hair, we just neatened and refreshed his naturally formed surfer waves by using some sea salt spray and then roughly drying it with a diffuser head on a normal hairdryer.
