Romayne – Matric Dance Airbrush MakeUp
Romayne was one of my more interesting Matric Dance MakeUp customers – in a GOOD way 🙂 xxx
Not only was the shape of her eyes quite unique, she was also a budding MakeUp Artist (enrolled to do a MakeUp Artistry & SFX course the following year). With very specific instructions on how she wanted her MakeUp done. 😉
And while I did feel challenged initially, I just adored working on this amazing young lady!
She also had 2 photographers present during our session – Maritha Livingstone-Louw, who I met a couple of years ago at one of Nelis Engelbrecht from Light Lounge Studio’s Wedding workshops where I did MakeUp. And Karin Huckfeldt, who is Romayne’s talented mom and budding photographer.
The best part of the day however, was when Romayne turned around for her first look in the mirror after I completed her MakeUp! She almost burst into tears from happiness at the image reflecting back at her (see the pic in the album below)…
It always brings me such joy when I can be part of these happy occasions in women’s lives. And I can’t wait to see all of Romayne’s artistic creations in the future! This is one talented young woman, bound for amazing things! PS. this is her FB page.
