Lauriaan – MakeUp on mom for daughter’s 1st birthday party
I first met Lauriaan when I did her MakeUp and Hair at the Newborn Shoot of their daughter. And the day before this first birthday party, I also did her MakeUp for her little one’s Cake Smash Shoot.
Lauriaan was still breast feeding at this time, so she wasn’t able to drink anything to help with the strong case of acne that she had to deal with since her pregnancy. So she once again booked me to do her MakeUp for this 1st birthday party of her daughter. Especially since there would be someone (albeit a family friend) taking photos.

For this occasion I kept her MakeUp natural, as it was mainly a day time birthday party and not a shoot, but still keeping the photography in mind.
Lauriaan’s main concern was her problem skin, for which the Airbrush Foundation that I use is perfect! So I just made sure everything was covered evenly while still looking natural. And then used some earthy colours on her eyes and added a healthy glow to her cheeks.
