The last lotion in the new Vaseline® Intensive CareTM range of body lotions and creams – which we will be looking at today – is the Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair:
As the name suggest, this lotion helps to repair skin suffering from serious dehydration. It contains the same specially designed blend of glycerine (to pull moisture into all layers of skin), and Vaseline® Petroleum Jelly (to lock moisture in) as the other creams and lotions in this range.
And it was clinically proved to repair very dry skin in just 5 days, according to a 4 week treatment clinical study. © Unilever 2013.
The lotion itself has no colour, and it is available in both a fragrance free, as well as a lighty fragranced option that has only a slightly sweet smell, and reminds me of lazy summer afternoons around the pool.
The flip top container for the Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair is a neutral white, with light blue writing for the fragrance free version, and purple writing for the lightly fragranced version.
This is a rich lotion, but still non-greasy, and absorbs quickly into your skin, leaving it feeling nourished and nurtured.
The Vaseline® Intensive CareTM range can be found at pharmacies like Clicks or Dischem or department stores like Pick n Pay or Checkers and the Advanced Repair Lotion is available in either 200ml or 400ml.
Final Thoughts: This lotion is a great booster to give your skin that extra nourishment after winter, in preparation for summer, and for any areas where you are experiencing extreme dryness!
