I found the 2nd half of the themes for the August Nail Challenge by Beautybulletin.com to be more exciting than the 1st half.
Theme no. 8 was Polka Dots – and I wanted to work some more purple (one of my favourite colours) into one of the themes.. so this was the result:
I did a very simple look with a darker purple as my base colour, and then dotted on the lighter metallic purple to create my purple polka dot nail art.
I then did an “accent nail” on my ring finger, by applying purple “gemstones” on top of the polka dots on that nail 😉
You can’t see the colours properly in this photo, but these were the polishes that I used:
1.) A shimmery Dark Purple by Camilla (Ralo Cosmetics)
2.) Rimmel London 60 seconds in 608 Rock Republic
3.) Sally Hansen‘s Double Duty Top & Base coat (clear)
