Were halfway through the August Beautybulletin.com‘s Nail Challenge and the 5th theme was : Metallic
I just received my hamper from Rimmel, which I won for a previous BeautyBulletin.com challenge, and I chose to use the silver & gold polishes from this hamper 😉
I started with the silver over the entire nail, and then painted broad strokes of gold over that on the outside of my nails (leaving the middle section silver).
I then did another layer of silver over the gold, leaving a narrow line of gold on either side of the silver line down the middle.
And lastly, of course, my clear top coat to round the look off with a super shine 😉
Here are the polishes I used:
1.) Sally Hansen‘s Double Duty Top & Base coat (clear)
2.) Rimmel London 60 seconds in 525 Gold’n Rock & 760 Rock The Metal
