Happy New Year everyone!! 2014 is going to be awesome! 😉
Today I’m sharing my New Years Eve Nail Art for our Black & White themed salsa party at Que Pasa Latin Lounge, to celebrate into the new year!
I started off with essence nail art – peel off base coat (because it makes removing polishes so much easier) and then painted my nails white with M.O.D nail lacquer – no 102 and did an accent nail on my ring finger with Tip Top NailChic – Surfer Girl.
I then used scotch tape and a clear polish to add black glitter on my tips and used Amazing Shine Sparkling Glitter – Princess on my whole accent nail.
After I applied some clear top coat to seal everything and smooth things out, you couldn’t really see that the black tips were glitter… in hindsight, I might as well just have used some black polish instead…lol
Next I used essence nail art topper – 11 disco disco to paint a glitter line along the inner edge of my black tips, and painted on some squiggly ‘zebra’ stripes using Tip Top NailChic – Black Forrest.
This was a fun party look, keeping to the black & white theme, with some bling bling because it was New Years Eve after all! 😀
I’d love to hear what you think, and what creations you were sporting for NYE?!

Thank you Jordie! 🙂
These are cool! I love the unusual combination of different colours, patterns and textures. And a salsa party for new years sounds amazing!
Thank you WonderfulWolf!! Yes I especially love combining different textures 🙂 And I’m a bit of a salsa addict.. on top of my nail art addiction 😉
What a lot of steps- but what a great finished product! I’ll have to try it sometime. And using a necklace in nail photography is smart- I’ll probably use that more quickly 🙂
Thank you TheGreatZambini!! I am always look for new and interesting ways to photograph my nail art 🙂
