Now that the wedding festivities have become just a happy memory, I look forward to going to K-day this weekend!
K-day is an annual outdoor (picnic style) music festival with the best of South African Vocal Artists & Bands.
This will be my first K-day that I attend, and I am super excited!! So for this week I wanted to do something with music notes:
I started with my clear base coat and a coat of Tip Top Nail Chic – Surfer Girl.
I then drew the ‘music score lines’ using a thin nail art brush and Yardley Twist nails 4D colour – Forest Fantasy.
Next I decided to add some hearts (for the l<3ve of music) using a shimmery light blue nail polish by Yu Xuan, and Yardley Twist nails 4D colour – Forest Fantasy on top for a smaller heart ‘inside’.
Lastly I had to add my music notes off course! And I again used the shimmery light blue nail polish by Yu Xuan.
They didn’t quite turn out the way I planned, the light blue doesn’t stand out as much as I thought it would, so my intended focal point – the music notes – are actually not so prominent… But I still like it 😀
