We’ve been having a couple of miserable winter days lately, with quite a couple more coming up according to the weatherman…
So the main colour for this week’s look was inspired by one of my favourite pass-times on a cold wintery day… Having a glass (or a bottle..) of a good red wine 😉
I started with my clear base coat, and then 2 coats of Tip Top NailChic – Crushed Grapes on all of my nails.
I then used Rimmel London Metal Rush – 60 Royal Blue to paint the half moon of my nails.
The idea was to add a lace-like pattern so I did some criss cross lines over the half moons using Yardley Twist nails 4D colour – Forest Fantasy.
Then I added some half circles to it with Rimmel London Metal Rush – 60 Royal Blue again.
And added some more detail with both Rimmel London Metal Rush – 60 Royal Blue and Yardley Twist nails 4D colour – Forest Fantasy.
And lastly I used my new essence gel-look topcoat for a super shiny finish.
I was quite impressed with the essence gel-look top coat, it did really give a very shiny finish 🙂
PS. the shoes in my 1st photo are my dancing shoes from Burju.. They are sooo gorgeous! And the colours and design matched my nails, so I couldn’t resist sneaking them in there 😉

This is stunning, I especially love the Yardley color. Where did you find it from?
Thank you Beth! I think I bought the Yardley colour from our local Dischem Pharmacy if I remember correctly 🙂
