It’s no secret that I am not a big fan of soap bars. They can very harsh and drying on your skin, stripping away natural moisture and leaving it feeling dull and dry and itchy.
The Dove Purely Pampering Beauty Bar however, is different 🙂
The beauty bar comes in an oval shape with the lovely trademark dove etched into the centre.
When I used it for the 1st time, I immediately noticed that the lather felt a lot creamier than with ordinary soaps. I believe this is because of the rich blend of Shea Butter, Vanilla & ¼ moisturising cream that is used in the making of this soap bar.
All of which, counters the dehydrating effect of the soap, leaving your skin skin clean, without any tightness or dryness, feeling soft and smooth.
And of course the infusion of Vanilla extracts leaves your skin lightly fragranced with a heavenly Warm Vanilla scent that envelops all your senses.
I actually stored this beauty bar in one of my drawers until I used it, and this lovely Vanilla wafted up at me every time I opened the drawer… might need to go and and buy me a couple more just for that purpose… lol

Final Thoughts: I am still not going to be converted from creamy body washes to soap bars, but this is definitely the one I would suggest for those ladies and especially gents who prefer to use an “old school soap”! 😉
