So I know we’re into the new year already… Whoop whoop!! 😉 But I still wanted to share this 2nd Christmas Nail Art design that I did for Christmas last week:
I started with my clear base coat, and then painted each of my nails in a different colour:
Thumb – Cherry Ice from Ice Box colors
Index finger – Wild and Crazy – Purple
Middle finger – L.A. Colors Art Deco – White
Ring finger – essence colour & go – 128 let’s get lost
Pinky finger – essence colour & go – 137 wanna be your sunshine
I then used the Scotch Taping method and the Sugar Spun method to create a Christmas Tree on my middle finger with Forest from Revlon Street Wear – and used different colours of striping tape to turn my other nails into presents around the Christmas Tree.
Lastly – and also the most FUN part of this creation – I decorated my tree with little “nail caviar” baubles, and a yellow star at the top of the Christmas tree. (My star was actually light blue to begin with.. so I painted it yellow with my essence colour & go – 137 wanna be your sunshine and allowed it to dry, before applying it to my tree).
I again wanted to keep the texture of my tree and decorations, so I did not apply a top coat to my middle finger nails, but I did apply top coat to my other nails, to seal in the striping tape, and for extra shine & protection.
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!! And an exciting new start to the year! 2015 is going to be AMAZING!!
