We recently had another themed party at my salsa school – Que Pasa Latin Lounge. And this time round the theme was ‘Black and White’.
So I decided on this fun Black and White puzzle piece Nail Art look for the evening:
As usual, I started off with a clear base coat, and then I followed that with 2 coats of Tip Top Nailchic – Cream Puff.
Then I used some scotch tape to paint neat black rectangles on top of that with Tip Top Nailchic – Black Forest.
I then used my dotting tool to make the little round pieces of black on the white.
And the same with the round white pieces on the black. Followed of course by some top coat, very carefully applied, to not smudge the black into the white, or Vice Versa.
This was so simple to do, and it looked really great! I will definitely be trying it again using different colours some time 😉
Of course I also did a special Black & White makeup look for the occasion, which I will be sharing with you early next week!
So don’t forget to come pop in!! Or follow/subscribe to my blog via wordpress, via email or via bloglovin to receive notifications of new posts in your reader or by email xx
A great idea and not too difficult!

Oh thanks a mil! Been meaning to get a few tutorials up for ages so I’m delighted you like it 🙂
These look great Mariaan! I realky like that cream puff color too. Its not chalky like a lot of whites
Thank you Jacqui!! Yes I’ve noticed that I’ve been using that polish in quite a couple of my designs lately.. maybe too many… lol
Isn’t it funny how we have a bunch of polishes but always reach for certain ones over and over again? lol
