Elsjé Kroese Wedding – Bridal & Bridal party MakeUp

Doing MakeUp for Elsjé Kroese on her Wedding Day was extra special! We we’re actually in school together (both Primary and High School)  so it was great to catch up with her, and share in this special occasion.

Elsjé’s MakeUp

To open up Elsjé’s eyes, I only did a semi-smokey eye (not full). This is basically with the eye shadow smoked and darker on the outside corners of the eye, while keeping most of the eyelid brighter with a light coloured eye shadow.

Her two bridesmaids preferred a normal full smokey eye look.

I used mostly rose gold and warm browns from my Urban DecayNaked 3 palette for this look. And I also did a thin liquid liner along her top lash line using #LiquidLuck (black eyeliner pen) from Swiitchbeauty. As well as lining her bottom waterline with Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencil Black Fever. I then added a couple of layers of Mascara using my favourite waterproof one (which has sadly been discontinued) from Wet-n-Wild : MegaLength Waterproof Mascara

Elsjé (like most ladies with freckles or sun spots) wanted to have a bit heavier foundation coverage, so I simply built it up using my Airbrush Foundation from Kryolan, until we got to a level that she was comfortable with. Before softly sculpting her cheeks with some bronzer, blush and a highlighter.

Lastly, I added some colour to the bride’s lips using 730 Make Your Move from Rimmel Provocalips 16HR kiss proof lip colour, which is also one of my favourites when it comes to long wearing liquid lip colours.
