Mishani Couple Shoot MakeUp
I did MakeUp on Mishani for their Couple Shoot early morning on the day that South Africa won the 2020 Rugby World Cup.
While it meant a really early start, I was also excited to be part of this shoot! Instead of a regular romantic couple shoot, Mishani and her boyfriend decided to do a Prince & Princess themed photo shoot. They even used a Castle (the Castle of Good Hope) as their location.
Mishani also does professional modelling, so she was super relaxed in my MakeUp Chair as well as in front of the camera.
Mishani’s MakeUp
The strip lash falsies that Mishani gave me to apply on her was quite a dramatic set. So I kept the rest of her MakeUp light, bronze-y and glowing (not too heavy). If I did heavy MakeUp together with the dramatic lashes it would have just made her look older instead of enhancing her natural youthful beauty.
In most of these images you can see the glowing highlight on her cheekbones. This was created by using MakeUp Revolution Liquid Highlighter – Champagne together with Catrice High Glow Mineral Highlighting Powder 010 Light Infusion (definitely one of my favourite highlighters!).
Then to create an almost nude / rose gold effect on her lips, I mixed together 700 Skinny Dipping and 730 Make Your Move from the Rimmel Provocalips 16HR kiss proof lip colour range.
